Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop

Stone Temple Pilots

26/3/1996

8

Originally put this album off because no one really talks about it online but this might be my favorite STP album. It has some really solid tracks and I enjoy Scott's voice on this album. It's also cool how "Trippin’ on a Hole in a Paper Heart" inspired a Baltimore STP tribute band. Definitely would recommend.

Featuring "Birds"

Quasi

7/4/1998

7

Found this band by chance on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised with the song it recommended. The whole album is a good indie rock album with darker themes painted in a happier portrait.

Off The Wall

Michael Jackson

10/8/1979

9

Absolute classic and one of my favorite Michael Jackson albums. I don't think there is a single miss on this album arguably not even a skip. Amazing.

Parklife

Blur

25/4/1994

7

One of my favorite Blur albums with hits like "Boys & Girls" and "Parklife". Provides a strong Europop album that still is a solid album today.

Dog Eat Dog Food World

Niko B

24/5/2024

6

Chill hip house album with song good rapping and cool production. Most of the album is slower stuff which currently is not my thing but still good nonetheless.

Love And Glitter, Hot Days And Muzik

Helen Love

1/1/2000

8

Solid album with fun eurodance songs and cool pop punk songs. Though the first half of the album is better imo than the last half.

Apple

Mother Love Bone

19/7/1990

9

Released after the lead singer's death, Apple is an amazing album with amazing vocals from Wood. If Wood was still alive I'm positive Mother Love Bone would be the most popular grunge band (after Nirvana)

Temple of the Dog

Temple of the Dog

16/4/1991

8

Temple of the Dog was a band formed by Chris Cornell with the rhythm guitarist and bass guitarist of Mother Love Bone (MLB) to commemorate Andrew Wood, who was the lead singer of MLB. This is a very good one off album to commemorate the lead singer with heavily emotional tracks such as "Say Hello To Heaven" which has Cornell talking directly to Wood.

Graduation

kanYe West

Remove "Drunk and Hot Girls" and "Barry Bonds" and add the Japanese release bonus track "Bittersweet Poetry" and you have the best album of all time. Never gets old.

The Money Store

Death Grips

19/4/2012

9

Amazing album, someone told me in 2019 to listen to Death Grips and I laughed it off because I had only seen people make fun of them. I probably wouldn't have liked it at the time but now I know that my past self was an IDIOT.

Songs for the Deaf

Queens of the Stone Age

1/1/2002

8

Very cool album covering multiple radio stations that keeps the album interesting and cool.

Whole Lotta Red

Playboi Carti

23/12/2020

6

Good album for it's time, made everyone want to be him. After 2021 I have very rarely, if ever, revisited this album.

LORESEEKER

BBY GOYARD

28/7/2023

7

Hilarious album by BBY GOYARD with some pretty solid tracks. I like the inspiration Songs for the Deaf take from it ;). This lore goes too deep.

Heaven to a Tortured Mind

Yves Tumor

2/4/2020

8

Blew my mind upon first listen. Amazing production and vocal work made me a huge fan of Yves.

Bando Stone and The New World

Childish Gambino

19/7/2024

6

An okay send off to the Childish Gambino moniker. I hope the movie is a lot better as Gambino is one of my favorites.

Vultures 1

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign

Ew.

Cherry Bomb

Tyler, the Creator

13/4/2015

4

Rough album by Tyler here, the highs are incredibly high and the lows are incredibly low, no in between. Might need a break listening midway through.

White Pony

Deftones

20/6/2000

9

My favorite Deftones album with awesome intense and loud songs to rock out to in a car with windows down. Poby.

The Bends

Radiohead

1/11/1994

9

Love these tracks top 2 Radiohead album in my opinion. I never get tired of these tracks.

channel ORANGE

Frank Ocean

1/1/2012

9

My favorite Frank album with strong summery vibes with lyrics about entitled rich kids and depression. I this album front to back.

L3fT 4 D3aD

Hi-C

21/11/2023

6

One of my least favorite Hi-C albums as all the songs pretty much sound the same and he reuses the slowed intros into the grave. A couple stand-out tracks but not enough to save this album.

Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale

Tyler, the Creator

31/3/2024

8

A solid album by tyler that gives off a heavy summer feel to me. Deluxe added some enjoyable songs too.

brat

Charli XCX

7/6/2024

10

My first Charli album and this by far blew me away, I love the electronic feel to this album and the late to early 2010's feel aesthetic of the album. No skips.

Dirt

Alice in Chains

29/9/1992

8

A very solid Grunge/ Alternative Metal album from Alice in Chains. One of my favorite albums of this era with hard hitting vocals and instrumental work.

Binc Rinse Repeat (EP)

Naked Flames

22/1/2021

7

A solid house EP that I use for songs around this website because of its resemblance to songs you would hear on the interweb in the early 2000's. The only thing bringing this project down is the repetitiveness throughout the tracks, which the artist acknowledges in the title "Binc Rinse *Repeat*"

Chaser (EP)

Boris

27/8/2023

8

A good EP collection of Femtanyl's singles up to that point with hardcore sounds that rattles your brain. Some songs are noticably better than the rest but nowhere near unbearable if you like in your face instrumental music

Heavy Rocks (2002)

Boris

26/4/2002

9

An amazing metal album from the Japanese collective Boris, with loud in your face instrumentals and vocals. This album made me fall in love with it first listen. The atmosphere created around you while listening makes you feel like you are being surrounded by the band giving you a personal concert. Absolute must hear if you like metal

High the Lonestarr Mixtape

Hi-C

11/6/2019

10

This mixtape is one of my favorite Hi-C releases of all time. The mixtape is comprised of songs that he released on his soundcloud from 2015 to 2017. The songs boast new names, new sound effects, and are sometimes sped up. The instrumentals in this album are also unreal with insane ethereal production. By far my most returned to Hi-C album.
